So I just watched another two hours of mind blowing dancers in Vegas and the selection of the new top 10. Why top 10 you ask? Well, this season they decided to put a different spin on things. They took ten of the best dancers they had from past seasons like Courtney, Lauren, Ade, Twitch and a few more and decided to pair them up with ten new talented dancers. With the pickens’ being so slim, it’s been extremely hard no doubt, for the judges to narrow it down to just five girls and five guys from the entire country.
So in honor of the new season, I really wanted to put a spotlight on my absolute favorite choreography’s from past seasons. I am a huge fan of dance in general as I have been dancing since I was 4 and have always tried to take classes and join teams wherever I go. So when I started watching So You Think You Can Dance, I was in absolute awe of the raw talent and amazing tricks that some of these kids have. I would kill to have talent like that but unfortunately for me, dance is only a hobby and a passion.
The first choreography I chose was danced by one of my favorite dancers of all time, Chelsea Hightower (Now a regular on Dancing With The Stars) and Mark Kanemura dancing a Napoleon & Tabitha Hip-Hop routine to Leona Lewis’s Bleeding Love. This was sooo good, the choreography was nominated for an Emmy in 2009. Chelsie and Mark simply glide on that stage, exuding so much emotion, my heart literally starts beating fast and I feel like I’m right there with them. Enjoy… I know you will.
