Miss USA 2012 contestant, Sheena Monnin, has officially resigned from her position as Miss Pennsylvania. The 27-year-old brunette beauty claims that the pageant was actually fixed from the get go. Monnin, who believes her strongest talent is being an attentive and heartfelt listener, may have listened a little too attentively. She claims that another contestant told her that she accidentally saw an open folder with the title, “FINAL SHOW Telecast, June 3, 2012″ before the show even started, and the Top 5 places were already filled in.
“I have decided to resign my position as Miss Pennsylvania USA 2012. Effective immediately I have voluntarily, completely, and utterly removed myself from the Miss Universe Organization. In good conscience I can no longer be affiliated in any way with an organization I consider to be fraudulent, lacking in morals, inconsistent, and in many ways trashy. I do not support this system in any way. In my heart I believe in honesty, fair play, a fair opportunity, and high moral integrity, none of which in my opinion are part of this pageant system any longer.” Monnin revealed on her Facebook page.
However, that may not be the whole story. Turns out Monnin could have resigned for an entirely different reason. She sent an email to state pageant organizers, with her feelings regarding the new transgender contestant policy, implemented two months ago. “I refuse to be part of a pageant system that has so far and so completely removed itself from its foundational principles as to allow and support natural born males to compete in it. This goes against every moral fiber of my being.” Ahm… totally agree.
In retaliation, Donald Trump went on Good Morning America and cleared up this beauty mess. Trump says that her allegations are completely false and ridiculous, adding that they actually dont care who wins, and nobody knows the results until the end of the show. “Nobody knows anything. Ernst & Young doesn’t even know until they tabulate.”
The great Donald Trump also said that they will be filing a suit against the former Miss PA for defamation of character. “We’re going to be suing her now because she made a charge and she said that it’s fixed… She suffers from a thing called loser’s remorse.” Trump adds that “his people” have spoken to this other contestant who told Monnin about the folder and that she denies the whole thing. With a final personal stab right below the belt. “I think her primary issue is she lost and she’s angry about losing. In my opinion, I saw her for barely a second she didn’t deserve to be in the top 15.”
