Our quirky pop princesses is settling down. The I Kissed a Girl and I Liked It singer, first met her British comedian prince charming, Russell Brand, at the MTV Video Music Awards in New York City on September 13, 2009. The romance started when Brand kindly mentioned (On stage) that he had a huge crush on the singer and that they were staying at the same hotel. I guess that worked because a few days later the twosome went on a little Thailand getaway to get to know each other. A few weeks later they made their couple debut in Paris for fashion week.
After almost 4 months of dating, Katy Perry and Russell Brand took their New Years celebration international and went to India. When the rest of the world was getting wasted and dancing on tables, Katy and Russell were cozying up to each other in a little tent at the foot of a mountain in Jaipur, India when Russell popped the question. Katy Perry of course said yes and the rest… well I guess we’ll see what happens.
