Dawson’s Creek main man, James Van Der Beek, has just announced that he and his girlfriend of nine months, Kimberly Brook, are having a baby. Van Der Beek and his ex wife Heather Ann McComb got together in 2003 but unfortunately split in April 2009, only two months before Van Der Beek met his current business consultant girlfriend.
Van Der Beek tweeted his happiness just 4 hours ago, saying “Yes, it’s true – the woman I love and I are expecting our first child… currently experiencing joy on levels I never knew existed.”
James and Kimberly apparently met in August while vacationing in Israel and Kimberly’s twitter bio says that she is a Kabbalah student and James’ twitter profile background is a layered image of “Mazal Dagim” which refers to the astrological sign of Pisces.
And if you’re wondering what James’ ex-wife Heather Ann McComb thinks of this love fest, it seems that she is totally ok with it. According to a close friend of the couple, all three of them have hung out together. Van Der Beek, who is currently on NBC’s Mercy and McComb who has guessed on shows such as CSI and Prison Break, may have broken up but he still has to pay her $7,750 / month through 2012 as part of their divorce settlement.. Kimberly should be pissed especially now that they are having a baby.
