Looks like Gellar’s time out of the public eye might be over. She has reportedly been filming a pilot for a new HBO comedy called The Wonderful Maladys which tells the story of a family of geniuses. Unfortunately rumors have been spreading that the pilot was not picked up by the network and the comeback will not happen.
Being a huge fan of Buffy the vampire slayer, I am shocked! Have they seen the show? don’t they know she is absolutely hysterical and that this new comedy can be a huge success? I guess not. The Wonderful Maladys is supposed to air in 2010 but HBO representatives are not willing to give a statement one way or the other, so I guess we will have to wait and see… or not see.
