With the Economy going up and down and down and down…. I (As the rest of the country) had to make some cuts in my monthly budget. Many things went out the window first, like the gym. ( It took me a while to give up but i finally did it!)
So how can you still get your exorcise without paying $40 bucks a month? There are many things you could try… Mr Smith and I started walking to the mailbox at night (A 5 minute walk but still…) and of course the reason for this post! We started playing Tennis! Well, I started. ( Mr. Smith has been playing since high-school and even made it to the New Jersey State High School Championships. (He would kill me if I forgot)
We were out there for a little over an hour and I realized that I need a major Tennis makeover – as I was running around the court on a beautiful Miami afternoon (about 90 degrees) in black jazz shoes, little shorts and a black tank top.
Shopping time !!! And what a coincidence … I just saw a commercial for the new D’lights from Skechers – for around $50 they look really cute. I also found a very comfortable looking pair of New Balance tennis shoes at PlanetShoes.com for like $30 with free shipping. I am also in desperate need of a white pleaded skirt (Yes i am getting all decked out). I found some really cute skirts from Buy.com bu we’ll see what I’ll get. Keep you posted.
