Hands off Ladies, Channing Tatum is Married!

Channing Tatum (29), the star of the 2006 hit movie Step Up tied the knot with his Step Up co-star Jenna Dewan (28) this past weekend in Maui. They first met on the set of Step Up and have been inseparable ever since.

For those of you who don’t know, Step Up tells the story of a Nora Clark and Tyler Gage. Tyler, who grew up in foster homes his whole life, makes extra cash by stealing cars with his best friend. One night they decide to brake in to the dance school Nora goes to and trash the auditorium. Unfortunately, Tyler gets caught and is sentenced to community service at the school. There, he meets Nora, a beautiful dancer that just lost her dance partner for her final performance due to an injury. T

yler who just happens to be this AMAZING dancer offers to be her partner and in the process learns that he wants to make something of himself instead of being just a street punk. Yada yada yada… they fall in love and perform an amazing piece choreographed by Nora which gets Nora a scholarship and Tyler into the school. Love it ? I do.

I’m a huge fan of dance movies. It’s obvious my favorite movie is Dirty Dancing, so Step Up is definitely on my list and is a must watch for all you hopeless romantics. Especially now that they are married in real life, go see how it all began. For those of you who have Netflix, put it on the Que! and if you don’t you can rent it from your local Blockbuster, or… just sign up for Netflix.

Channing Tatum considers himself a very lucky man. Not only did he just marry the love of his life but he also has a new movie coming out. Channing will be appearing in G.I Joe: The Rise of the Cobra debuting August 7th.
