Courteney Cox Responds To Divorce Filed By David Arquette

Yes, this may just be the most amicable divorce in Hollywood history. Ever since their separation, it was obvious that Courteney Cox and David Arquette had their daughter Coco’s best interest at heart. They seemed to have remained friends even through all the infidelity and womanizing on Arquette’s part. We still thought that they may get back together, but as of Friday, those hopes have officially been laid to rest by Arquette himself, when he filed for Divorce in a California court.

“We are comfortable with the boundaries that we have established for each other during this separation and we hope that our friends, family, fans and the media also show us respect, dignity, understanding and love at this time as well,” the couple said in a joint statement when they separated back in October 2010. Both Cox and Arquette parties will be representing themselves, without lawyers, have listed “irreconcilable differences” for splitting up, and also requested the same custody arrangement, which seeks joint legal and physical custody of their 8-year-old daughter Coco.

Courteney Cox-Arquette is also requesting for the Arquette to be removed from her name, so she can simply be Courteney Cox again. Isn’t it strange that two of our favorite TV friends, Jennifer Aniston (Rachel) and Courteney Cox (Monica) havent had much luck with lasting relationships. You would think that they are just be the most awesome people to have in your life. Sorry, big Friends fan over here :) . Well I hope Courtney gets back on her feet with a new dude soon enough, she deserves to be happy.
