 Mrs. Smith  June 14, 2010, at 7:52 pm  Buffy Summers (Sarah Michelle Gellar) – Since Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Sarah Michelle Gellar has not exactly been in the public eye. Gellar’s post Buffy Movies include: Scooby-Doo 2, The Grudge, The Grudge 2 and a slew of movies that went straight to DVD and limited release, as well as an unsold HBO pilot called The Wonderful Maladys.
However, the movie scene was definitely not on her list of priorities. After meeting Freddy Prinze Jr. during the filming of the 1997 (Same year as Buffy started) teen horror flick, I Know What You Did Last Summer, they were married on September 1st, 2002 in Mexico and have been enjoying their married life ever since. In 2007, Gellar legally changed her name to Sarah Michelle Prinze in honor of the couple’s fifth marriage anniversary and two years later, on September 19, 2009 she gave birth to the couple’s first child, a daughter named Charlotte Grace Prinze.
Sarah Michelle is also an active advocate for various charities, including breast cancer research, Project Angel Food, Habitat for Humanity and CARE, a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty.
Fun Fact: Gellar has revealed that she suffers from a phobia of being buried alive, “I really fear graveyards and I have a big phobia of being buried alive. It was really hard being an ass-kicking vampire slayer when you are afraid of graves.”
 Angel (David Boreanaz) – After Buffy The Vampire Slayer was over, Boreanaz still had a year left on his Buffy spin off, Angel, where he played the same lovable character only in Los Angeles and this time he was the hero. Much like Sarah Michelle Gellar, Buffy’s end was the beginning of straight to DVD and limited release movies with the exception of The Crow: Wicked Prayer which wasn’t really that great. Unlike Gellar however, Boreanaz made a huge come back when he was cast as special agent Seeley Booth alongside Emily Deschannel in the FOX drama, Bones. He is also a co-producer of the show and has even directed a few episodes.
After marrying actress and playmate Jaime Bergman in 2001, they had a son, Jaden Rayne, born May 1, 2002 and a daughter, Bardot Vita, born on August 31, 2009. On May4th, 2010, Boreanaz revealed to his wife as well as the media that he had been unfaithful, after a supposed mistress threatened to blackmail him for six figures. Bergman and Boreanaz stated that divorce is not an option and that they are working on their marriage.
Fun Fact: According to Amy Acker (Fred), David Boreanaz used to flash people on the set of Angel. “Yeah, I pull my trousers down in the middle of a serious take to see if they can keep a straight face. I need to lighten the moment, I guess.”
 Xander Harris (Nicholas Brendon Schultz) – To continue the “there’s no life after Buffy curse”, Schultz made a few unknown movies like Unholy, Blood On The Highway, The Portal and My Neighbors Secret. Schultz also had some guest appearances on more known TV shows like Kitchen Confidential, Criminal Minds and Without a Trace. Much like his marriage to Tressa Di Figlia which ended in 2007, so did his acting career. On March 17th, 2010, the police responded to an early morning call in Los Angeles about an intoxicated individual roaming the streets. The officers had to taser him after he allegedly swung his fists at them and attempted to run away. Nicholas was arrested for felony vandalism and was held on $20,000 bail. He was later charged with four misdemeanors, including one count of resisting arrest, two counts of battery against a police officer and one count of vandalism.
After dealing with stuttering most of his life, Schultz became a spokesperson for the Stuttering Foundation of America, appearing in a print campaign for the organization as well as serving as an honorary chairperson of the Stuttering Foundation of America’s Stuttering Awareness Week for three consecutive years, from 2000 to 2003.
Fun Fact: Schultz has an identical twin brother, Kelly Donovan Schultz, who is older than him by three minutes. Kelly served as his occasional stand-in on Buffy The Vampire Slayer when Nicholas was sick as well as during some fight scenes.
 Willow Rosenberg (Alyson Hannigan) – For Alyson Hannigan, life after Buffy has been pretty sweet. She has made a ton of guest appearances in several popular TV shows like Angel, That 70′s Show, King of the Hill, Veronica Mars and The Goode Family. In 2005 she joined the cast of How I Met Your Mother and has been making people across America laugh ever since. Hannigan also starred in the 2006 romantic comedy spoof Date Movie as Julia Jones.
Aside from Buffy, Hannigan’s most popular role was probably playing Michelle Flaherty in the generational teen comedy movie series American Pie, American Pie 2 and American Wedding.
In 2003 Hannigan married her Buffy co-star Alexis Denisof who played Wesley Wyndam-Pryce (See below). Six years later on March 24th 2010 (Which is also Alyson’s birthday), Alyson gave birth to their first daughter, Satyana Marie Denisof. Satyana has bright orange hair just like her momma and has been seen taken out for strolls in L.A. parks. Watch out Hollywood.
Fun Fact: Alyson has had two songs recorded about her: “Alyson Hannigan” by Juvenile Wreck and “This One Time” (named for her famous “This one time, at band camp…” quotes from American Pie) by The Malcolm Effect.

 Kate Beckinsale and Rhona Mitra not only look alike, they are actually pretty similar in their personal lives as well. Both Beckinsale and Mitra were born in England in the 70′s and are only three years apart from each other. In fact, Beckinsale was born in 1973 and is now 36 (wow, she looks much younger) and Mitra was born in 1976 and is now 33. Both actresses are the same height, have the same hair color and length, same eye color and of course same bone strucure.
Beckinsale and Mitra also followed the same film path for the most part and those paths have crossed for Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. Rhona Mitra played Sonja, the daughter of vampire ruler Viktor who executed her when she fell in love and was impregnated by a Lycan. Kate Beckinsale played a young girl who was “saved” by Viktor after he slaughtered her family and turned her into a vampire because she reminded him so much of his daughter Sonja.
Mitra might not have been as famous as Beckinsale in past years but she is definitely doing her part to catch up by guest starring in numerous TV shows like Party of Five, The Practice, Boston Legal, Nip/Tuck, Stargate Universe and the newest ABC vampire series, The Gates. Speaking of vampires, both Mitra and Beckinsale have played vampires but only Beckinsale played a vampire hunter in Van Helsing. I love love love both of them and hopefully we’ll get to see these two beautiful ladies in a movie together again.

I don’t normally get obsessed with shows but there’s just something about The Vampire Diaries that makes me tingle. And I’m not the only one who’s caught in this hot vampire web. The Vampire Diaries just got picked up early for another season, along with Gossip Girl, Supernatural, America’s Next Top Model and 90210.
Who may be in trouble? Smallville, One Tree Hill, Life Unexpected and Melrose Place.

 This just in people… After a fight to the hotness between Twilight’s Kellan Lutz, Stargate Atlantis‘s Jason Momoa and Supernatural‘s Jared Padalecki – The beautiful hunk of man who won the part was Jason Momoa. According to Myspace, a source in Lionsgate said that ” Not only Momoa is the most experienced actor out of the three, but his test was much better than his fellow hotties”.
I am a huge fan of all the Stargates to begin with and Jason Momoa was just the cherry on top. Momoa was Born Joseph Jason Namakaeha Momoa on Aug 1st, 1979 in Honolulu, Hawaii but grew up in Norwalk, Iowa. In 1998 he moved back to Hawaii and started modeling, right before he was discovered and joined the cast of Baywatch Hawaii (1999-2001). In 2005 Jason was cast Ronon Dex in Stargate Atlantis and has stayed with the show until 2009 when the show ended.
Jason Momoa also snagged The Cosby Show’s cutie Lisa Bonet, who was married to musician Lenny Kravitz for 8 years… I guess she really likes those dreads. Bonet gave birth to their first child, a girl named Lola Iolani Momoa, on July 23, 2007. As well as a boy named Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa on December 15, 2008.
I wonder if the original 80′s Conan, Arnold Schwarzenegger, will make a guest appearance…

1. I thought her English accent in Sanctuary was fake but she was actually born in Rochford, Essex, England and only moved to Canada at the age of 3
2. She Is a spokesperson for UNICEF
3. When deciding on a career she was torn between science and acting, who knew she was gonna play the smartest scientist on the planet on Stargate-Sg1
4. She co-founded a Canadian comedy group called “Random Acts”
5. Amanda appeared in more Stargate episodes + movies then any other cast member, she also appeared in all 5 seasons of Stargate Atlantis (As her Stargate-Sg1 character) and she was one of two actors to appear in all 10 seasons of Stargate-Sg1

 First Let’s start with some History: Paul Wesley was actually born on July 23, 1982 as Paul Thomas Wasilewsky, his parents, Agnieszka and Thomas Wasilewski relocated from Poland shortly before his birth all the way to New Brunswick, New Jersey. The reason why he changed his last name to Wesley was because it was too hard to pronounce and I guess a much better Hollywood name. Wesley’s acting career first began when he was cast in the soap opera The Guiding Light as Max Nickerson during his junior year in high school. Even though the show took a tole on him, he never left high school and after graduating in 2000 he began attending Rutgers University. Fortunately for us, he left after only one semester when he was offered more roles and he realized he can make acting his career. (Mr. Smith was also born and raised in New Jersey and is a huge fan of Rutgers  )
But before Paul Wesley became the hunky vampire on Vampire Diaries, He had quite a few TV appearances as well as movie roles. None of the movies are known but the TV show appearances are pretty impressive:
Now for the shock I promised, Paul Wesley has never owned a TV!!! Isn’t that crazy? He also made sure that he did not watch the Twilight movies because he did not want to be influenced by it. Even though, both Vampire Diaries and New Moon were filming in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, last April. Apparently both casts stayed at the same hotel and hung out all the time.

It Seems that Rob-Patt and K-Stew are at it again. With the coming release of the latest Twilight Saga movie – New Moon, looks like every magazine out there wants a piece of the hot duo. The latest photo-shoot came from Harper’s Bazaar, and it includes a little interview that believe it or not, still did not reveal anything about the New Moon co-stars relationship (Or lack there of).
The couple made sure to give the fashion mag some steamy shots of the undeniable chemistry between them. Bazaar also managed to get them to answer a few sneaky questions about each other and E Online was kind enough to provide some of the excerpts:
Who Googles themselves more?
Kristen: “Rob”
Rob: “She would say me, but I reckon it’s her. If either one of us catches the other one doing it, we’re like, ‘Jesus Christ, is that what you’re looking at?’ And the other one’s on their phone pretending to text. I look up my competition more than she does. I’m incredibly shallow. I think she just looks at herself”
Who’s a better sport?
Kristen: “Who can hang? Definitely me. He’s very sensitive. He’s got a fragile ego”
Who’s more competitive?
Kristen: “Rob. In a very childish way, in every aspect of his life. He’ll literally start talking in a different voice if he’s won something. He sounds like a 5-year-old“
Rob: “I’d say it was even. She said me? Really? When I really win things, it’s just like…“
Well, looks like Kristen is the one who wears the pants in the “Family” and Rob is actually a sensitive guy??? Who would have thought?! Don’t forget that only a few days ago they were spotted checking in to a hotel for the night. But the question that will be on our minds forever (Or until they finally tell us the truth) is are they or aren’t they really together. I think so. Just check out the hot photoshoots they’ve been doing, including Harper’s Bazaar.

1. His biological great-grandfather was a wealthy English landowner who got one of his mistresses pregnant and paid one of his immigrant workers to marry this woman and give the baby a name, which was Somerhalder. (Talk about issues)
2. He played varsity soccer and baseball
3. Has been modeling since that age of 10 for the likes of Gucci, Guess?, Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabanna and Versace
4. He loves literature and reads a lot of books
5. His favorite on-screen kiss is with Maggie Grace even though she put garlic in her mouth (I wonder why)

After all the hype from the SCREAM 2009 awards, I had the sudden desire to tell all of you about one of my personal favorites and one of the hottest Sci Fi shows on TV today. For a show that started as an eight-webisode long series and is now working through it’s second televised season, I would say Sanctuary is doing pretty darn good. It all started in the 18th century when 5 incredible scientists decided to drink pure vampire blood which gave them all special yet different powers (Wouldn’t it make sense if they just became vampires? My opinion). Dr. Helen Magnus (Played by Amanda Tapping – Samantha Carter for my fellow Stargate freaks) as their leader became immortal, Nikola Tesla became a vampire, Nigel Griffin became invisible, Dr. James Watson (As in THE Watson) became extremely smart and John Druitt (Jack the Ripper) was suddenly able to teleport through time and space, aside from hooking up with a certain Dr. Magnus and having a daughter named Ashley played by Emilie Ullerup (That is until an evil company that wants to destroy all abnormals called the “Kabal” turns her into a super soldier and sends her to attack all sanctuaries, but then she dies – Maybe).
Sanctuary is literally what it sounds like, a sanctuary in the form of a huge castle in the middle of what I’m guessing is San Francisco that servers a place of refuge for all good and bad monsters that are actually pretty common in their world. There is a sanctuary in every major country and they call themselves the Sanctuary network. Other major characters include forensic psychiatrist Will Zimmerman played by Robin Dunne, weapons designer and brilliant computer scientist Henry Foss played by Ryan Robbins and their own Bigfoot played by Christopher Heyerdahl that acts as the Sanctuary’s butler, chauffeur and body guard. It’s one crazy lovable bunch and they are here to save the world – Enjoy!
