I have to admit that opposed to most award ceremonies, there were actually more best dressed than worst dressed on the red carpet. Finally the ladies are actually getting it, when it comes to award fashion. To start with my favorite, it would have to be Jennifer Lopez in Emilio Pucci. The sparkly mini dress may have been awfully short, but it is Jennifer Lopez after all and the Grammys are all about flash and sparkle and funky.
My other favorites would be Kelly Osbourne in a lavender Tadashi Shoji (which she couldn’t remember for the life of her) feather dress, that [...]

Well the theme of the night was definitely color, very bold color. Red, pink, orange, blue and a lot of beige and white to contrast the color explosion on the red carpet. My lady of the night was, surprise surprise, Tina Fey. It seems that Fey has finally woken up from a long nightmare of black dresses and in the last few ceremonies she has finally stepped out of her comfort zone and blown us away, especially in that little red number by Oscar de la Renta.
Coming in close second was Mila Kunis, definitely a hit on the carpet with [...]

I always find it very sad when celebrities, that can very easily pay someone to dress them, end up looking so drab and boring on award shows. Even if you don’t want to hire anyone, wouldn’t you think that if millions of people are going to see you and your outfit, you should probably take a second look at yourself. Well I can always dream can’t I. Maybe I should have been a star stylist.
Let’s start with Jennifer Lawrence who was nominated for her role in Winter’s Bone but did not win, was abviously having a pretty bad day all [...]

This year’s Best dressed actress was hands down Amber Riley from Glee in a gorgeous sparkly one shoulder silverish blue dress with a black belt. Amy Adams was a close second, followed by a glowing and very pregnant Jane Krakowski in light blue. Other best dressed ladies include Tina Fey, Olivia Wilde, Christina Aguilera, Julie Bowen, Mila Kunis, Catherine Zeta Jones, Elisabeth Moss, Kyra Sedgwick (one of my favorites), January Jones, Sofia Vergara and Eva Longoria.
A few that I want to mention are Sarah Hyland (Modern Family) and Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit), two young ladies who are new to the [...]

It seems that this year’s colors were drabby pale pink, colorless beige and yucky off white – needless to say that most actresses did not look good at the 2011 Golden Globes. It’s hard to say what brought on this fashion of making your dress look like your skin but most ladies definitely got the bad fashion memo. Let’s go through them shall we… first of we have the always fashionable Lea Michele, who always looks fantastic in anything she wears and actually won best dressed last year. She didn’t do too good this year in a pink bubble gown [...]

The Original Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Sarah Michelle Gellar, wore this interesting Channel dress to a P.S. Arts event in L.A. sponsored by the designer in 2007. Gellar paired the embellished dress with peep toe shoes and a black clutch. I say pretty cute. What are the Buffy The Vampire Slayer cast up to? Check it out.
Last week, Diane Kruger, who has been dating Fringe cute boy Joshua Jackson sine 2006, decided to bring the dress back for a Channel show in Paris. Kruger however, decided to remove the sleeves and add spaghetti straps (not cute), put black design stockings [...]

Our favorite zombie killer Emma Stone decided to follow in the footsteps of many celebrity red heads such as Lindsay Lohan and Laura Prepon and go blonde. The question is, was that such a good idea? Honestly, I think she looked much prettier with her gorgeous red hair. I’m not really sure why she dyed her hair but when she showed up at at the Trevor Project’s annual Trevor Live event in Hollywood on Sunday, they barely recognized her. I say dye it back, what do you think?

Born Katherine Elizabeth Hudson, on October 25th 1984 to two Christian pastor parents in Southern California. Perry grew up listening to only Gospel music (Her parents did not let her listen to any “secular” music) and from the age of 9 to 17 she sang at the local church. During her freshmen year in high-school, she decided to get a GED and follow her passion for music to the next level.
While singing at the church, Perry was noticed by music professionals from Nashville, Tennessee and ended up moving there to learn how to play the guitar and how to write [...]

I may have a bit harsh in the past, when it came to women chopping their hair off and looking like boys. Though I still stand by my opinion about short hair, I never looked into why they actually do it, and I doubt the reason is just to get a new haircut. I read a very interesting article today that made all the sense in the world and pretty much spelled out the reason for all that hair on the salon floor.
Women are by nature very emotional creatures and all these emotions are almost always tied down to the [...]

Born Robyn Rihanna Fenty on February 20, 1988 (Hey Rihanna was born on the same day as my mom, a few years later of course) in Saint Michael, Barbados. Rihanna left Barbados at the age of 16 to pursue a music career in the states after signing a contract with Def Jam Records under the strong guidance of none-other then Jay-Z himself. In 2005 she broke into the market with her first single “Pon De Replay” and began an instant sensation.
Five years and five albums later, Rihanna is one of the hottest and most successful Pop/Hip-Hop stars in the world. [...]
