It seems that Showbiz star Marie Osmond’s 18 year old son, Michael Blosil, has leaped to his death off the roof of his L.A. apartment Friday night. Blosil was one of the five children that Marie Osmond and ex-husband Brian Blosil adopted. Michael reportedly suffered from depression and even entered a rehab center for undisclosed reasons back in 2007.
Osmond released the following statement on Saturday evening: “My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time.” Only a few years ago, Marie was fighting accusations made by the National Enquirer that she herself had attempted suicide in 2006, and had been hospitalized in Utah.
As of now Donnie and Marie have canceled their Las Vegas show at the Flamingo hotel and are waiting to receive news regarding Blosil’s autopsy that will take place Sunday.
26 year old Paula Sladewski was found dead on Sunday, Jan. 3rd, in a Miami trash bin. Sladewski and her boyfriend of two years, 34 year old Kevin Klym, came to Miami to celebrate the new year and see lady Gaga in concert at the Fontainebleau. The couple was enjoying their stay in the sunny city and decided to stay a few days longer. Saldewski and klym were partying at Club Space (Which is about 5 blocks away from my place) on Saturday night until about 7am the next morning, when the two started fighting. According to Klym, the fight began when he was ready to go home and Paula did not. Space security kicked Klym out over the commotion and he had no choice but to take a cab back to their hotel. Creepy… I was actually at Space for New Years Eve two years ago.
When Paula did not come back by Monday, Kevin filed a missing persons report. Sladewski’s body was found sunday night when firefighters were called in to put out a fire in a trash bin around NE 130th Street. Once the fire was out, the firefighters realized that the source was in fact a body. Sladewski’s body was burned so badly that there was no way to recognize her on the spot. Local authorities finally made the statement that the burned body was of Paula Sladewski when her dental records were confirmed on Tuesday night.
Paula Sladewski was said to be a playboy model who appeared in the Ultimate Playboy Search 50th Anniversary in 2003. However, according to the Miami New Times, there’s no indication that Paula Sladewski was in fact testing for Playboy that day as her name did not appear in the video credits. Paula’s family was actually quite upset that every source reporting the gruesome murder, put ‘Playboy Model’ in every headline. Like everything she has ever done in her life sums up to her being naked for some magazine.
Police is still looking for clues, and are not conclusive on whether Paula Sladewski’s long time boyfriend, Kevin Klym, is still a person of Interest. There have prior reports that Klym has a history of violence and that he was arrested two months ago for breaking Sladewski’s nose during a fight. According to Klym’s lawyer he is “devastated and traumatized”.
The Johnson & Johnson heiress was discovered on Monday, Jan. 4th, in her L.A. home by her maid. It appears Johnson died of natural causes but the coroner’s office will be conducting their own investigation on the matter (Sound familiar? just like Brittany Murphy). Casey Johnson was the daughter of the New York Jets football team owner, Woody Johnson, and socialite Sale Johnson. Casey was also engaged to reality TV star Tila Tequila as of Dec. 9 who is broken down by the news and is currently mourning with family. Casey also left behind her daughter Ava from Kazakhstan in 2007.
Family members and friends that she was very troubled and always stated that she may die by the time she is 30. Just days before she announced her engagement to Tila Tequila, Johnson was arrested for allegedly stealing shoes, jewelry, clothing, underwear and legal documents from a former friend, socialite and British model Jasmine Lennard. Johnson was turned in by former girlfriend Courtenay Semel (Daughter of former ex-Yahoo boss Terry Semel).
Does any one else think that the fact that these young stars are suddenly dropping dead in their 30′s from “natural causes” is a little fishy???
All of Casey Johnson’s close friends such as Paris Hilton, Bijou Philips and Nicole Richie got together at Nikki Hilton’s place to mourn their friend. Later that day Nikki Hilton and Bijou Philips caused quite a ruckus when attempting to retrieve Casey’s personal things and her dogs from the house she shared with fiance Tila Taquila. The reality star put up quite a fight claiming they want to put the dogs to sleep so that they can rest with the heiress and even called the LAPD.
OMG. This is sooo sad. She was found collapsed in the shower early this morning by her mother. After a 911 call that was apparently placed by her husband, Simon Monjack, Murphy was rushed to Cedars-Sinai hospital. Attempts to revive her were not successful and she was pronounced dead upon arrival to the hospital. Reports are saying she died from a cardiac arrest. Brittany was an amazing actress and this is truly a sad day.
Brittany Murphy has not had an easy life, she was born in Atlanta, Georgia however after her parents divorce, her mother moved her to Edison, NJ. Her father is a convicted mobster and her mother was diagnosed with cancer when Brittany was only 15, but thankfully survived due to a double mastectomy (That sounds painful). Brittany was half Italian from her father’s side and half Irish and Eastern European on her mother’s side.
No matter the hardship in her life, Murphy remained a ray of sunshine. That and many more of her quirky qualities came out in every movie she did. She officially broke in to the film industry with Clueless and soon after shot one great movie after another. To name a few good ones: Girl Interrupted, Riding In Cars With Boys, 8 Mile, Just Married, Uptown Girls, Little Black Book, Sin City, Love and Other Disasters (Must see) as well as the amazing animated movie Happy Feet.
Brittany also left her mark on the music industry. In 2006 she collaborated a dance hit with Paul Oakenfold called Faster Kill Pussycat which climbed the Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Play chart as well as the UK singles chart. Murphy put her singing chops on display again, when she played the role of Gloria on Happy feet and sang Queen’s Somebody to Love and Earth, Wind & Fire’s Boogie Wonderland.
Steve LaTreal McNair was found dead just a few hours ago at the corner of 2nd South and Lea Avenue in downtown Nashville. Police have also confirmed a second victim, female, however there is no connection for police yet. McNair, who nearly led the Tennessee Titans to their only Super Bowl victory in 1999, died from a gun shot to the head. Authorities have suggested a double homicide, or a murder / suicide.

Michael Joseph Jackson, the iconic King of Pop, suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holby Hills home in California today around 12:20pm. By the time the EMTs had arrived, Jackson had no pulse and it looked like there was no chance of reviving him. After being rushed to the UCLA medical center where chaos had already begun, he was eventually declared dead at 2:26pm according to the L.A coroner’s office. A cardiac arrest is defined as a rapid heart rate that has to be treated immediately by a defibrillator and in many cases is fatal.
A source tells E!, that in his last days Michael had mentioned being cold and not feeling well during rehearsals for his comeback tour. After a rough decade for Michael, this tour was supposed to be his big return to the entertainment world both as an artist and as a person. Only a few weeks ago, Jackson was working hard and getting his vocals back in shape and, this was supposed to be the first live performance in 3D.
The sad news not only devastated Jackson’s family but millions of fans all over the world. Michael Jackson’s music has touched and influenced many artists and individuals throughout the years and you can’t help but smile and get in a good mood when you hear his music. His performances will forever be remembered as timeless.

Farrah Leni Fawcett, a Hollywood icon who rose to fame in the epic Television Series “Charlies Angels”, died today at about 9:30 a.m. at St. John’s Health Center in Santa Monica.
After being diagnosed with a rare anal cancer in 2006, Fawcett refused to give up and was finally declared cancer-free in 2007. Fawcett said in a statement: “This is an extraordinarily happy day for me and my family. I hope that my news might offer some level of inspiration to others who unfortunately must continue to fight the disease.” Sadly, three months later, Farrah brought a small digital video camera to document a doctor’s office visit at the UCLA Medical Center and was informed that her cancer had returned, spreading to her liver. Fawcett repeatedly sought experimental treatment in Germany but to no avail. Her last days were spent at home, on an IV, often asleep.
Farrah Fawcett lived a long and fulfilling life which began with her ground breaking role as Jill Monroe in “Charlies Angels.” She then catapulted her stature to what is known now as “The poster”. The legendary poster of Farrah Fawcett in that full red bathing suit, smiling that big Farah Fawcett smile and her huge wavy hair flowing down her back. Named “Most Memorable Bathing Suit Moment” on E!, Fawcett’s expression was described as someone who just sat on a pin, but kinda liked it.
Even though Farrah Fawcett is gone, she wont be forgotten. Farrah appeared in many movies and TV shows such as Ally McBeal, Spincity, The Guardian. Farrah is and always will be a brave and beautiful Hollywood figure that will be remembered for much more then just Charlies Angels. Forced to battle her cancer publicly, Fawcett made “Farrah’s Story,” a video diary that chronicled her struggle to fight the disease and efforts to protect her privacy. Certainly a sad day for Hollywood.
David Carradine, American born actor that appeared in over 200 TV series and Films, has recently died at the age of 72. Carradine is most known for his performance in the Television Series “Kung Fu” as well as his portrayal of the deadly assassin Bill in “Kill Bill Vol 1&2″. The details on David’s death are still coming in but early reports show very troubling information.
According to multiple media outlets, David Carradine was found in his Bangkok hotel suite naked, hanging from a rope in his closet. David was in Thailand shooting a new film “Stretch” and was supposed to go out to dinner with the cast and crew. He was a no-show and the next morning, was found by the maid with the curtain rope tied around his neck. Autopsy reports will not be available for another 24 hours but speculation has already begun on how he died. Bangkok police are certain it was a suicide however David’s family members and close friends fail to find a reason for the suicide. “We can confirm 100% that he never would have committed suicide” Carradine’s rep said. “It was an accidental death. Everybody is in shock.”
Although I am not familiar with a lot of David Carradine’s work, I absolutely loved the “Kung Fu” series. I am thankful that Quentin Tarantino re-introduced me to the brilliance of Carradine in “Kill Bill” and will be certain to watch a lot more of his work over time. I remember just yesterday seeing a preview for the new episode of “Mental” and saying “Hey, that’s Bill!”
With over 125 Films acted in, it won’t be easy to check out all of Carradine’s work but I encourage you to do so. David appeared to be in the prime of his career, knocking out 5-6 films a year, it’s such a shame to see him go.
