There have been many rumors floating around,that Simon Cowell has in fact proposed to his girlfriend Mezhgan Hussainy. These rumors had been somewhat put to rest by Simon Cowell’s publicist Max Clifford two weeks ago, when he said that he spoke to Simon in London and asked him: “Look, are you engaged? Is it true?” and Simon said “No! No. I’m not engaged.” Well it might have been true then, but now I’m not so sure.
In the picture to the right, you can see American Idol producer and judge, Simon Cowell (50), with his recent main squeeze, Afghan-born American Idol make up artist Mezhgan Hussainy (36), at Sony Music offices in Beverly Hills, CA. on February 28th. What’s in the top right corner you ask? Well that would be the huge diamond ring that Hussainy was sporting on that special ring finger.
That huge rock might be a statement all on it’s own… but we would still like an official announcement! Thanks in advance Mr. Cowell.
It seems that Showbiz star Marie Osmond’s 18 year old son, Michael Blosil, has leaped to his death off the roof of his L.A. apartment Friday night. Blosil was one of the five children that Marie Osmond and ex-husband Brian Blosil adopted. Michael reportedly suffered from depression and even entered a rehab center for undisclosed reasons back in 2007.
Osmond released the following statement on Saturday evening: “My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time.” Only a few years ago, Marie was fighting accusations made by the National Enquirer that she herself had attempted suicide in 2006, and had been hospitalized in Utah.
As of now Donnie and Marie have canceled their Las Vegas show at the Flamingo hotel and are waiting to receive news regarding Blosil’s autopsy that will take place Sunday.
As I mentioned in The Grammy Awards Best Dressed, The Grammy’s are definitely all about fun. Fun outfits, fun mood and fun performances. And well the stars definitely delivered. The first “lady” we are going to talk about is of course Lady Gaga. One thing she does well, is wear the craziest shit I have ever seen. I personally really don’t like her but she makes excellent material when it’s time for my worse dressed posts. Lady Gaga never disappoints, and that is why she appears not once, not twice, but three times on my crazy list. According to Miss Gaga all of her outfits were custom-made just for her by Armani Privé.
The next tasteless lady is the lovely Ciara in a black cobweb Givenchy dress, our little pop princess, Britney Spears, in a sheer lace Dolce & Gabbana dress over a black bodysuit which so did not compliment her new hot bod. Now what can you say about Pink, she’s a rock star, even though her performance was absolutely unbelievable, her outfit definitely could have been a little less see-through.
Fergie definitely brought the right arm candy to the Grammy’s (Ahm… hubby Josh Duhamel) but not the right outfit to perform in. Ok, i get it… she was going for the whole futuristic feel for her space cadet performance with The Black Eyed Peas, but the gladiator jock strap was definitely pushing it.
Unlike the other serious award shows, like the Golden Globes and the SAG Awards, The Grammy’s are all about fun, fun, fun. And this year, it was all about legs, legs, legs! The Grammy’s is the one award show you can get loose, play with your outfit and make it totally Rock&Role. Our leading ladies for this evening were Miley Cyrus in a rocker teal Hervé Léger by Max Azria dress, Glee star Lea Michelle (Of Course) in a Romona Keveza one shoulder frock with a fun petal skirt, Ke$ha in a gold 20’s flapper dress, Fergie in a blue mini by Emilio Pucci and Heidi Klum in a gold sequins Emilio Pucci.
So who wins best dressed??? Well to me it’s a tie between Lea Michelle and Miley Cyrus. They both wore dresses that are perfect for them and their individual personality so it’s really tough to pick one. The bigger question is who wins best legs! And the answer is Lea Michele hands down. Even Jay Manuel said that the only crime Lea Michelle committed was hiding those amazing legs. I gotta admit, I think I’m developing a little girl crush on Lea Michele.
Now I don’t know if I’m just old-fashioned, or I am actually conscious of what I look like, but pretty girls should have long pretty hair. Period. I’m sorry but I just don’t think that girls with short hair are very attractive. Especially when it’s boy hair or weird Mohawks. First of all lets talk about Pink, she’ is a rock-star and she gets a free pass because well she’s Pink. Don’t get me wrong, I still think that she could look so much prettier with pretty long blond hair but hey what can you do.
Rihanna, Rihanna, Rihanna… what is going through your head??? I understand that you’re trying to do the whole R&B / Rock&Roll thing, but common. You used to be so pretty!!! Rihanna also started trying this Couture look, and it is sooo not working for her. Now what can you say about Mary J Blige, this woman has been in the business for so long and has had so many different hair styles, that I’m hoping this is just a phase she is going through and that the Fro-Hawk is not here to stay.

Hills star, Heidi Montag has never been in the media for the right reasons. One drama after another made Heidi and her husband Spencer Pratt (Speidi) pretty much hated by the press and the public. Montag attempted a singing career but reviews were less than positive, in fact her album “Superficial” sold less than 700 copies to date world-wide. Speidi tried their luck on Fear Factor and I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here. She even tried to do her own fashion line called Heidiwood. Unfortunately none of those things made her more popular, more liked or even made her feel better about herself.
It’s no secret she has tried to alter her appearance in the past, but apparently that was not enough. The wannabe pop singer underwent 10 different plastic surgeries in one day in November of 2009, and now she has finally healed enough to show her face but unfortunately not enough to move it. Heidi underwent a mini brow lift, Botox in her brow and frown line area, a nose job revision, fat injections in cheeks, nasolabial folds and lips (No idea what that means), chin reduction, neck liposuction, ears pinned back, a breast augmentation revision (She got F’s… but said she wanted an H for Heidi), liposuction on her waist, hips and inner and outer thighs, and a buttock augmentation. Heidi was said to have almost died after the procedure because she received too much Demerol, just like Michael Jackson.
Heidi Montag stated in a recent interview with Access Hollywood that she is done with plastic surgery (Even though she previously stated that she was addicted to it). Heidi is apparently very pleased with the results as she is thankful for modern science and her ability (and choice) to change her appearance completely. You can see the drastic transition in her face and body in photos above. She almost looks like a wax figure in the last picture. Look, I’m not saying plastic surgery is bad, but everything needs to be done in moderation. I myself am guilty of some nose modification but that’s because I looked like I had Mount Everest growing on my face. I really hope she is finally happy with herself because I’m afraid the next time she won’t make it out alive… and that’s really sad.
For those of you who have been living under a rock for the last few years, Happy Feet is an animated movie that came out in November of 2006. It tells the story of a penguin who was born slightly different from the rest of his penguin clan. His name is Mumble (I always thought it was Mambo…lol) and unlike all the other singing penguins, he was more of a dancer. This movie has singing, dancing, love, drama and Happy Feet.
The original cast included Britney Murphy, Elijah Wood, Robin Williams, Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman. Now it looks like were getting two new voices… Brad Pitt and Matt Damon are joining the cast of the upcoming sequel. Happy Feet 2 will be released November 18, 2011 in 3D. One thing that’s kind of sad though; Britney Murphy was the voice of Gloria, Mumble’s girlfriend. Now that she is gone, who will play Gloria?
Ok so I saw the pic on the left on People.com, stating that Jessica Simpson is meeting some friends at Wilshire Restaurant in Santa Monica, California for dinner. First of all, I have my doubts about that actually being Jessica Simpson. Her boobs look like they have a life of their own and they are coming for her…. and it kinda looks like she has braces. If it is her, she definitely got a boob job. The fun bags don’t just grow five sizes over night. Let’s compare shall we…
