While filming her reality show, Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp, in California, Bristol visited a local bar called Saddle Ranch with some of her friends and rode the mechanical bull, when one of the guys at the bar started heckling Bristol, yelling out “Did you ride Levi like that?! Your mother’s a whore!”. Palin did not let the remarks slide and marched over to confront him.
The guy, who later identified himself as 47-year-old Stephen Hanks, continued the shameful name calling, ”What’d you say?” she asked him. “Your mother’s the f–king devil, If there is a hell…she will be there…She’s evil.” to which she responded “Is it because you’re a homosexual? And that’s why you hate her?” First Hanks replied “Pretty Much” but then he asked why she thought so, and Bristol replied, “Because I can tell you are. That’s a nice wife you’ve got there,” she added, pointing at the guy sitting next to him. She repeatedly asked for examples to why her mother is such a whore, to which he had no response. 47 years old? picking on a 21-year-old? Dude should learn some manners.
Bristol’s lawyers claim that Hanks had planned this whole ordeal just to get some attention, since Hollywood TV shares a parking lot with Saddle Ranch and there were cameras right in his face. Hanks however claims that he never noticed the cameras until Bristol left, and his attorney told E! News that no one ever asked Hanks to sign a release form. Apparently Hanks spoke to Lifetime’s parent network, A&E, about the allegedly unlawful use of his image but they were unresponsive, and so they had no choice but to take legal action.
Hanks is suing for undeclared damages, alleging “Invasion of right to privacy, defamation, misappropriation of right of publicity, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. He felt this was the only way he could protect his rights” the attorney added. Intentional infliction of emotional distress??? Are you kidding? HE called HER mother a whore. This guy is unreal!
After the lude scene, and in hand with his lawsuit, Hanks decided to issue a public apology, to make himself look like an actual human being in front of the media, “Having had an opportunity to view the camera footage of the incident this past Thursday at the Saddle Ranch Bar & Chop House in West Hollywood, and having reflected on the incident over the weekend, I have come to the conclusion that no matter what my feelings are towards Sarah Palin, I should not have expressed them towards her daughter, Bristol Palin,” Stephen Hanks said in a statement released by his lawyer to E! News, “I wish Bristol success with her television show, and much happiness in the future”.
I am admittedly a fan of Sarah Palin and her family, even though I don’t agree with all their political views. Her own reality show, Sarah Palin’s Alaska, was really cool and it was disappointing that the show got canceled after just one season. After watching the video, it’s clear that this loser was a lot more violent and menacing the Bristol was, and I was surprised that he didn’t cross the physical line. What a sad sad man.

This guy is one of those blood suckers that you just want to squash with your shoe!!
