To be completely honest, the first time I saw a commercial for this show, all I could think of was “Disaster!” (With a capital D). Could it be because it is called Skating With The Stars, yet none of the people on that show are actually stars? Maybe… Granted the only “Star” I actually know is Bethenny Frankel and I am a BIG fan. For those of you who don’t watch the BRAVO channel, Frankel was the sassy housewife on The Real Housewife’s of New York and then once she actually got married and became a true housewife, she began filming her on reality the show by the name of Bethenny Getting Married.
Now I must say, this lady is fantastic. She’s just so hilarious and sarcastic, we’d be the best of friends. I did hear that she might not be coming back for a second season of Bethenny Getting Married (Of course then, they’ll have to change the name of the show since she’s past that stage) but I doubt she’ll be able to stay away from that camera flash for long. It’s where she belongs. That might be why she decided to do Skating With The Stars, just 5 months after having her first baby girl Bryn. The video below shows her first week on the show, from getting to know her pro skater to the first performance and to the judges comments. Her dancing on skates may have been a little rigid but her lifts were fantastic and the judges couldn’t stop talking about her banging body. Good luck Bethenny, I’ll be rooting for you.
