No, this is not a cruel joke. Christopher Meloni of Law & Order: SVU will be joining the cast of True Blood as a series regular for season 5. Executive producer, Alan Ball, describes Meloni’s role as “an ancient, powerful vampire who holds the fate of Bill and Eric in his hands.” Suspected by fans to be part of the Vampire Authority, who will replace Nan Flanagan.
Meloni left Law & Order: SVU after 12 seasons, so you may know him as Detective Stabler. Meloni has also joined the cast of Man of Steel, the new Superman movie. I gotta tell [...]

For the last two months, I’ve been looking forward to one of my favorite performers, Meatloaf, going psycho on another of my favorite performers, Gary Busey. Celebrity Apprentice was kind enough to put these two minds together this year and I’ve loved every second of it. And every trailer for this year’s Celebrity Apprentice had to do with Meatloaf losing his cool, directed at the mad scientist known as Gary Busey. Tonight was the night that confrontation came to fruition, and my respect shifted greatly from one to another.
I’ve seen the Meat on a few other shows like Ghosthunters and [...]

When you think Italian fine dining, do you think of the Olive Garden? Well the obvious answer is no, of course not but for me and the misses we decided to take the plunge and visit the Olive Garden together for the first time. Our restaurant of choice this time around resides at NE 181 st. and Biscayne Boulevard in North Miami FL.
We arrived around 7 pm on a Saturday evening and the place was pretty packed, as we expected. We grabbed one of those black square things and waited around about 15 minutes before being seated at a booth, [...]

Something about music today just isn’t the same as the songs I’ve come to know and love from the 60′s 70′s and 80′s. Sure most of the R&B and Rap songs that come out today make for great club [...]

The Mrs and I don’t eat out often, probably because we are diligently saving money for our future. Eventually, we would like to move from Miami into a colder climate and make a sizable down payment on our first house. When we are able to splurge, we usually visit a globally recognized chain restaurant, like you’ve seen in our previous Applebee’s, Chili’s and TGI Friday’s reviews. In keeping with the trend, we decided to go to our local Denny’s restaurant, located on Biscayne and 36th ave, about 2 miles north of downtown Miami.

A perennial powerhouse from the Big East meets an unknown star from the Northeast conference when the Villanova Wildcats take on the Robert Morris Colonials. Villanova faltered toward the end of the season, losing five of their last seven games while Robert Morris won five of their last seven, including the NEC conference tournament. With the game being played in Providence, Rhode Island, Villanova should have a high number of fans in attendance and that’s just another reason why Robert Morris will stand little chance in this matchup.
